Easy Anti-Cheat and the anti-cheat question
How this site talks about Easy Anti-Cheat and PunkBuster without a bypass or an undetected label.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare anti cheat is a search for the system that watches a PC match, and for what a third-party product will admit about it. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Easy Anti-Cheat is the name this site uses when the question is aimed at the product listing. The word anti by itself is too small to rank for, but it shows up beside cheat in the same queries. This page defines the terms and stops before any bypass.
Two names, and why both appear
Public writing about the original 2007 PC release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare commonly refers to PunkBuster as the anti-cheat of that era. The product pages on mw4cheats.net name Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) as the anti-cheat relevant to compatibility questions about the current listing. Those statements are not interchangeable. A 2007 article about PunkBuster does not prove what a client does today, and a product page that says EAC does not prove a bypass. The status page is where a compatibility note would go. Right now that page does not mark the product undetected, compatible with a named build, or safe to use.
What this site will not write
There is no guide here to disable, spoof, or evade an anti-cheat. There is no “working as of” date that we did not verify. There is no promise that a weekly plan survives a game update. After a Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare update, treat compatibility as unknown until status says otherwise. The patch notes guide explains that rule without inventing the patch.
HWID Spoofer is a related product with monthly access. Its page does not say it removes an anti-cheat restriction, and it does not include steps. Cloud DMA is separate again, with lifetime access. Neither is required with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Cheats. The main plans remain $35 and $150. Buying a second product because an anti-cheat message appeared is not advice this site gives.
Messages that look like anti-cheat and are not
A shader bar that sits still is a loading problem. Read shader loading. A server browser that is empty is a population or server-status problem. Read player count. A Windows install that never launches is a PC setup problem. Calling all three “anti-cheat” sends people to the wrong fix. Easy Anti-Cheat, when it is actually the component in the error text, will say so in the message. PunkBuster errors from older write-ups look different. Read the words in the dialog before you rename them.
Features are not a countermeasure
Player ESP, Advanced Aimbot, and the rest of the feature list are names on a product card. They are not described here as tools that defeat EAC. Radar terminology in the aimbot guide is the same kind of label. No Recoil is not an anti-cheat setting inside the game. If you only wanted to know whether the game itself is hostile to third-party software, the answer is the ordinary one: using it can violate the game’s terms and can lead to an account restriction. That risk is stated on the product page. It is not softened here.
How to ask support a useful question
If you write to the support address, quote the error text, name the product you bought, and name your Windows version. “Anti-cheat” alone is not a ticket. Do not attach a request for a bypass. The FAQ already says the status page will not call the product undetected. Repeating that in email does not create a new status.
Use this page when the query is Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare anti cheat or Easy Anti-Cheat. Use status when you want the current note. Use the store when you want a price. Do not expect any of the three to include a method.
Read the dialog before you rename it
Copy the title bar of the error, not your summary of it. “Anti-cheat failed” might be a file permission, a missing service, or a message from a component you do not have installed. PunkBuster write-ups from older forums tell you to delete a specific folder. Do not follow that on a client that does not use PunkBuster, and do not follow an EAC reinstall guide on a client that does not show EAC. The wrong cleanup can break a game that was only waiting on a shader cache or a driver.
This website will not maintain a table of error codes. Codes change, and an outdated table is worse than a short rule: quote the text, match it to the client you launched, and do not add a bypass request. If the text is about our delivery rather than the game’s own check, include the order email and the product name. Cloud DMA, HWID Spoofer, and the main cheats listing are three tickets, not one.
The status page stays the only place a compatibility sentence should be treated as current. This article is the glossary. Glossaries do not expire as fast as status lines, because they are about words. When they talk about a live result, they overreach. That is the line this page is written to stay behind.
If two guides disagree, prefer the one that names the client on screen. A PunkBuster folder from a 2009 post is not an Easy Anti-Cheat instruction, and an EAC reinstall from a newer Call of Duty support thread is not automatically a Call of Duty 4 instruction. Match the logo in the error to the guide before you delete anything. When nothing on screen matches either name, you may be looking at a Windows permission or a shader stall instead, and the other guides on this site are the better next click.
